Present: Charles Plumley, Sean Smith, Shereen Elcherif, Gary Daniels, Cathy Blackler and Rhiannon Greene

• Meeting called to order at 5:05 Introductions & purpose of School Site Council
• Minutes approved with correction (moved, CB – second SS)
• Discussion of ways to involve more parents and student representatives – suggestion to move meeting start time to 4:15 rather than 5:00 (moved SE – second GD)
• Election of new Chairperson (Shereen Elcherif) and Recording Secretary (Cathy Blackler)
• Ms Greene shared her own personal experience re: Santana and stated how pleased she is with Siouxsie’s (her daughter) attitude towards school, etc since arriving here
• Mr. Daniels discussed ASB
• Mrs. Blackler discussed upcoming Book Fair to coincide with Family Literacy Day on November 1st
• Meeting was adjourned at 5:48
